Senegal face Poland in what promises to be another excellent World Cup group game. The teams have been announced and the two big names both start and captain their respective teams.
Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski leads the line for Poland alongside Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, a potent strike force. They will be supported by exciting wide players, Kamil Grosicki and Jakub Blaszczykowski who will look to whip cross into the box and trouble the Senegal back line.
In the middle of the park, former PSG midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak will run the midfield with Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinkski as they line up in a flat 4-4-2 formation. Their back four consists of Maciej Rybus, Michal Pazdan,Thiago Cionek and LucasPiszczek whilst former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojneich Szczesny is in goal.
For Sengal, Sadio Mane captains them and will provide attacking threat from the right wing. He is alongside Ismaila Sarr and M’Baye Niang as Senegal look to get in behind this Polish defence. Mame Biram Diouf will play up front as he looks to bag a goal after a disapointing season. Alfred N’Diaye anchors the midfield with Salif Sane, whilst Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly is the standout name in their defence.
Japan shocked Colombia in the other game in this group, winning 2-1 meaning this very even group is now completely up for grabs. With all the attacking talent on show this should be a corker of a game. Stick with us on The Sportsman to follow all the action from these World Cup games.
