It was one of the biggest upsets in recent Champions League history, but Barcelona's Neymar is refusing to give up hope after his side's 4-0 thrashing at the hands of PSG on Tuesday night, thanks to two goals from Angel Di Maria, together with strikes from Julian Draxler and Edison Cavani.
The Brazilian striker took to Instagram in the wake of the Catalan club's biggest defeat in the competition to say "Enquanto houver 1% de chance, teremos 99% fé", which translates to "While there is a 1% chance, we will have 99% faith".
The second leg takes place on the 8th March, where Barcelona is a 10/1 chance to pull off what would be one of the biggest come backs in Champions League history. Prior to the trip to Paris, Louis Enrique's men were favourites to lift the trophy for a sixth time and the first since 2015. However, they have since drifted to 40/1, leaving Bayern Munich and Real Madrid contesting favouritsm. PSG were slashed from 33/1 in to 6/1 to win the European Cup for the first time in the club's history.
Neymar's optimism has to be applauded, but it appears that his post on the popular social media channel is more in hope than expectation...
