The Aaron Ramsey transfer saga has already been one of the most highly talked about of the season and it has continued today, despite the fact we already know his destination.

The Welsh star has committed to sign for Juevntus on a free transfer in the summer in a move which has rocked the Arsenal fans and he once again showed the faithful exactly what they are losing.

The tricky midfielder has been a mainstay at the Emirates for years now and he made a major impression in his last ever north London Derby with a wonderful opening goal. The former Cardiff star broke free of the Spurs defence midway through the first half before coolly taking the ball around Hugo Loris and slotting the ball home to give the Gunners the lead at Wembley Stadium.

It was his 4th goal at the national stadium and it is one that he won't forget any time soon as he packs his bags and heads off to Serie A.

It has been a positive season in general for Arsenal with plenty of high points under Unai Emery but the loss of Ramsey is clearly still a major talking point on the terraces and his performance in such a big game has clearly not gone under the radar.

Gunners fans lit up social media during the north London derby to express their dismay at the club letting one of their key players leave the club for absolutely nothing...

Hope we spend our entire summer budget on buying Ramsey back from Juventus - (@VieraPaddy)

Ramsey just scored. Nice goal but shame he will be earning 400k a week for sitting on Juventus's bench. - (@RubenReflex)

Has Ramsey signed the contract with Juventus? Asking for a friend - (@_ttino)

It is becoming increasingly clear that Arsenal fans are dismayed at the loss of Ramsey and his performance today against Spurs was the latest sign that the Gunners are losing one of their key players in the summer. Juventus fans will have been delighted to see the Welshman show his best today as they look forward to welcoming him to the bianconeri but for Arsenal fans they can only enjoy him while they can...
