''Absolutely Disgusting!'' - Tottenham Fans Fuming As Martin Tyler Constantly Links Mauricio Pochettino To Manchester United

Martin Tyler has often been criticised on social media for his perceived pro Manchester United stance and Tottenham fans have just about had enough.

Spurs destroyed Everton at Goodison Park this afternoon 6-2 to maintain their Premier League title challenge but the main talking point on commentary during the game was the suggestion that Mauricio Pochettino could be set to leave Spurs for the north-west.

Pochettino has constantly been linked with the managerial vacancy at Man United this week in the wake of Jose Mourinho's departure and Tyler, alongside Gary Neville, couldn't resist the subject.

Spurs fans were predictably furious as their sides remarkable win was pushed to the sidelines in favour of the topic that their manager is likely to leave, and social media was awash with Tottenham fans slating the Sky Sports commentator.

Martin Tyler constantly stirring up speculation regarding Pochettino. Absolutely disgusting. - (@WRN89)

Somebody at Sky has definitely told all pundits to go all-in on Pochettino to Utd. Got to feel for Spurs. Harsh that they’ll have to put up with this until the summer - (@the1andOWENLY)

It would be nice if the commentators weren’t constantly going on about Pochettino potentially moving to Man U as if that weren’t a chalice brimming with hemlock - (@iucounu)

FFS... Shut up with the Pochettino/United talk. United have appointed Solksjaer until next summer. Stop trying to detail Spurs season now!!! - (@DrDoom_n_Gloom)

It is clear that the former Saints gaffer is at the top of the wish-list for Man United and it is that news, rather than the brilliance of Tottenham on the pitch, which continues to dominate the big talking points in the Premier League.
