''Absolutely No Chill'' - Teofimo Lopez Nearly Incites A Ring Riot With Celebrations After Brutal KO

Teofimo Lopez produced another sensational knockout on Saturday, although it was his provocative celebration that stole the show in Texas.

Lopez moved his career record to a 12-0 (ten by knockout) as he confirmed his reputation as one of the top lightweight boxing prospects around and he duly disposed of the veteran Diego Magdaleno, whose career record now stands at 31-3.

Magdaleno was absolutely battered by Lopez and there is an argument that the referee or his corner should have called an end to the fight long before the dominant force of Lopez unleashed a pair of brutal left hooks to secure a knockout in the seventh round.

The American victor then courted controversy with his celebrations as Magdaleno lay battered and bloodied on the canvas.

The 21-year-old strutted away, began dancing on one leg and then delivered a back flip in the centre of the ring.

He then walked up to his prone opponent and appeared to mock him before jumping on the ropes to acknowledge the crowd.

Magdaleno's ringside brother, Jessie, who is a former super bantamweight title holder, wasn't happy with the celebrations and attempted to get in the ring. Thankfully, Jessie was held back and a potential riot in the ring was avoided.

There was no doubting who was the worthy winner of the right, even if Lopez has a bit to learn about being graceful in victory!

Lopez is next expected to be in action as part of the undercard to the Amir Khan-Terence Crawford on 20 April. In the meantime, you can see his brutal KO of Magdaleno and the subsequent celebration in the Twitter video below...
