''Alvaro Morata Has Two Weak Foots'' - Chelsea Fans Slam Sullen Striker After Miraculous Offside Miss

Alvaro Morata has endured a tough spell at Chelsea and his struggles continued this afternoon following a bizarre performance against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

The former Real Madrid striker was meant to be the answer to Chelsea's striker problems when he signed but he has failed to settle in London and has struggled for game time under Maurizio Sarri this season.

The Spaniard couldn't stay out of the action in the FA Cup today with his performance containing a little bit of everything.

The 26-year-old forward managed to score twice in the game but he didn't look happy about it as he failed to celebrate on either occasion which didn't go un-noticed by the fans on social media.

That wasn't his main problem today though with an open goal miss going viral for the unlucky marksman. The former Juventus striker managed to scoop the ball over the bar from no more than three yards out and although he was saved by an offside flag, it was still difficult to fathom exactly how he managed to scoop the ball so far over with the goal gaping.

As you can imagine, the Chelsea fans on social media were not holding back...

Morata is actually in deep depression - (@PanasheXI)

I genuinely feel bad for morata even when he scores he still manages to be the worst player on the field - (@James_Eigo)

Morata has two weak foots - (@olly02)

Hopefully the last time we will see Morata and Fabregas in a Chelsea shirt - (@shivamLM2)

God is punishing Morata for something - (@RizwaanAkhtar91)

Morata has constantly been linked with a move away from Chelsea in the last few weeks and his attitude today was of a man who wants to leave the club. Despite being on a hat-trick, he was removed in the 2nd half by Sarri and trudged straight down the tunnel.
