Arsenal And Chelsea Fans Comically Mock Tottenham Hotspur Following Shock Burnley Defeat

Tottenham Hotspur were revelling in the fact top marksman Harry Kane was back in the starting XI for their trip to Burnley at Turf Moor, but hours later the Spurs fans were sensationally downhearted following a 2-1 defeat to the Clarets, which has seen Spurs quest for Premier League glory take a massive dent.

Ashley Barnes and Chris Wood sandwiched a Kane strike to take all three points in the north west, but defeat for the north London side now means that Spurs remain five points behind Liverpool ahead of their clash with Manchester United tomorrow afternoon, and many believe now the Spurs surge for the top-flight title is over with Mauricio Pochettino's side faltering at the crucial moment.

Naturally at the final whistle at Turf Moor Arsenal and Chelsea fans were quick to mock their London rivals, and while both of that pair have no chance of lifting the Premier League title themselves they would've certainly not wanted Spurs to claim their maiden Premier League title.

Taking to social media in the aftermath of Saturday's early kick-off, Arsenal and Chelsea fans unleashed hell on Spurs supporters with some comical comments at their defeat.

Spurs looks like they’ve bottled again. This is great #BURTOT [KhaiHazard]

Everyone: "Spurs are back in the title race." Spurs: "Hold my beer..." [Unity_Ref021]

Spurs bottling any opportunity of the title (Never in the race) is more predictable than the Barkley / Kovacic substitution from Sarri. #CFC #THFC [Ade_Evans]

Spurs bottlers forever. #THFC #Afc [A_Singh]

Spurs lost. Happy Saturday 🙏🏾 [JohnTambwe]

Great Weather, Spurs Lost. What A Day😂😂😂 @BurnleyOfficial 👏👏 #Arsenal [Jabz_DaLastKing]
