Arsenal Receive Huge Injury Boost As 6 Players Including Mesut Ozil Return

Unai Emery and his staff have received good injury news as six of their first team players have returned to full training ahead of their weekend clash away at West Ham. The Gunners travel across London aiming to keep the pressure up on the top four and they can welcome back several key players for this game.

Top of that list is Mesut Ozil who has missed the last few game with a knee problem. A return to full fitness and form for him would see him back in the first team and although he is finding it tough to hold down a starting position under Unai Emery he could provide an important option for the gaffer.

Also back in action are a whole host of defensive options looking to ease the Gunner’s issues at the back. Hector Bellerin is back in training after a problem with his left calf, Laurent Koscielny is back after suffering from a back spasm at Blackpool whilst Shkodran Mustafi is also back in action after his hamstring issue.

Another player who is back from a hamstring injury for Arsenal is Nacho Monreal who could return to the starting eleven. Dinos Mavropanos will provide another option as Unai Emery after weeks of struggle is now spoiled for defensive options.

Arsenal will be hoping to get back on track after a tricky Christmas period saw them lose to Southampton, Tottenham and Liverpool. With Chelsea and Manchester United to come after this, it is crucial that Arsenal get all three points on the board and keep the pressure on their rivals.
