As the new Premier League season creeps ever closer, we’ve decided to check in with fans of all 20 clubs to gauge their opinions on everything from their expectations to the league’s winners and losers.
In this edition we catch up with @FOREST_REVIEW to ask them about the tricky Tree’s key men and their Premier League predictions.
Nottingham Forest have been very, very busy in this summer transfer window. Many believe they've made too many signings and they’ll be worse for it but when Steve Cooper took over in November last season they were bottom of the Championship - they simply had to strengthen. The marquee signing of Jesse Lingard stole headlines but smart recruitment across the board including the signings of Neco Williams, Lewis O’Brien and Harry Toffolo are all markers of a carefully considered transfer approach that could be the difference as they look to stay in the Premier League.

- Ask the fans: Crystal Palace
- Nottingham Forest will face a mammoth task to stay up this season but their 4/6 with Betfred*
What are your expectations for the season ahead and where do you think you’ll finish in the league?
I think we all acknowledge it’s going to be a tough season, as with any side that’s promoted from the Championship. But we’ve done some sensible business in the transfer window so far and have a first class management team at the top of the club. Let’s see where it takes us. I’m going to be optimistic and say 14th.
Which player do you think will have the best season and why?
I’m looking forward to seeing how Brennan Johnson fairs up against the best defenders in the world. He’s an outstanding talent.
Which player do you think will surprise other fans/pundits this season and Why?
Scott McKenna. I see a lot of people questioning his ability, not Forest supporters, but up in Scotland. I see a lot of negativity when he’s named in Scotland’s squad or is in their starting line-up. He was unbelievable for us last year, hence picking up the Player of the Year award.
Which team will win the league?
Man City. I can’t see past them again. Signing one of if not the best striker in world football (Erling Haaland) will only add to their chances.
Which three teams will be relegated?
Southampton, Fulham and Bournemouth. In that order.
