Barcelona have launched an astonishing cash-plus-player bid worth £50m to try and sign Chelsea midfield star Willian, who is one of the primary targets for the La Liga heavyweights.
The Spanish giants failed to get a deal over the line for the Brazilian international last year, but Sky Sports have announced that Barcelona are ready to do a deal again for Willian, which will not only see Chelsea get a significant fee, but they are also offering Malcom as part of the deal.
Malcom joined Barcelona for £38m from Bordeaux, but has struggled during his time at the Camp Nou and they are now happy to let the 21-year-old leave and if that can be part of a deal for Willian then that would suit the Spanish side.
Chelsea have fended off bids from Barcelona for Willian, with the Blues rejecting a £55m bid in July for their South American star, however, it's common knowledge that Maurizio Sarri is wanting to bring the average age of his squad down in the coming years and with Willian now 30 years old and with 18 months left on his contract then Sarri could potentially see this deal as a decent one.
Malcom has only started one league game for Barcelona this season after his big money move from Ligue 1, and it would appear that Barca manager Ernesto Valverde is ready to cut his losses with the Brazilian U20 international, and he is hoping to lure another South American talent to the club, but this could be a deal that rumbles on over the coming weeks, as Sarri aims to keep his squad together in order to push back into the Premier League title race.
