National Hunt racing has exploded in recent weeks and The Jumps Racing Podcast in association with The Sportsman is across all the latest goings-on in the jumping world with its brand new magazine show.
Chris and Sean kick off the podcast with a look back at last weekend's action which saw Bristol De Mai retain his Betfair Chase crown, while the lads discuss Politologue's victory in the Christy 1965 Chase and all the talking points over the last seven days.
They then turn their attentions to their exciting A-Z series which has reached 'F' in the alphabet and they discuss one of the finest Irish Jumps horses of the modern era and take in some iconic commentary to reminisce about a 1990s/2000s legend.
Swiftly moving on to this weekend's action on the track, Sean in particularly is getting jiggy about the Ladbrokes Trophy in what he calls his 'favourite race of the season'. Arguably the most competitive handicap chase of the entire season, the team discuss some of the leading contenders and aim to steer you in the right direction of the winner in a race that could throw up a potential Cheltenham Gold Cup contender.
As well as all the action at Newbury, the boys are salivating over the prospect of reigning Champion Hurdle winner Buveur D'Air, last year's Ballymore champion Samcro and dazzling Supreme hero Summerville Boy battling it out in a vintage renewal of the Fighting Fifth Hurdle.
On a bumper weekend of top class action in the UK & Ireland, the lads conclude by talking about Fairyhouse's Grade 1 triumvirate on Sunday in which Apple's Jade and Laurina could face off in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle, with the Drinmore Novice Chase and Royal Bond Novice Hurdle just another brace of top-class races discussed in the premier horse racing podcast.
So, if you want to get revved up for the weekend then make sure you take a listen to the Jumps Racing Podcast.
