Billy Joe Saunders has been denied a licence for his world title clash with Demetrius Andrade in Boston on October 20th.
The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission have blocked the fight after the British fighter failed a voluntary drug test prior to the defence of his WBO middleweight championship strap.
The 29-year-old now looks likely to be stripped of that title in a major blow to his career, and he didn't take the news too well according to various reports.
The former Olympian was present via conference call for the decision to deny him a licence and he had some harsh words for the commissioners in the States once the confirmation had come through.
"You can suck my prick!"
It isn't the first time this year that Saunders has been in trouble with the world champion recently fined £100,000 for appearing to offer a women drugs in a video which went viral on social media.
This is a major hit both financially and professionally for Saunders with the Andrade fight set to give him a platform in a America and a seven figure pay day according to various reports.
Saunders pulled out of a fight with Martin Murray during the summer in the hopes of landing a mega bout with Canelo Alvarez or Gennady Golovkin but having missed out on that, a clash with Andrade had been considered the next best on a big DAZN card in the States.
As it stands though, Saunders career is in tatters with a drugs question mark now against his name and he clearly didn't take this latest blow very well...
