Caroline Wozniacki put in a scintillating display at the WTA finals in Singapore, thumping world number one Simona Halep 6-0,6-2.
The Romanian looked way off the place from the start, losing the first set in just 24 minutes before showing a slight improvement in the second.
This should confirm Wozniacki's place in the semi-finals whereas Halep will have to beat Elina Svitolina to reach the last four.
Should she lose to the Russian she will not finish the year at the top of the world rankings.
Wozniacki told BT Sport: “I felt like I played very well. Obviously, she got frustrated and I felt like I was doing everything just a little bit better.
“I feel like I’m back where I’m supposed to be. It’s been a great year for me and I’m finishing it off in style.”
Wozniacki's great year clearly peaked when she saw the Backstreet Boys (below), she'll be hoping to create more great memories on the court this week.
