Renowned for a tremendous travelling support, Celtic fans showed again why they are regarded as some of the best in the world as they created a tremendous atmosphere en route to the Red Bull Arena.
Swarms of Celtic fans walked behind a police escort without a semblance of trouble and were in terrific voice as they got ready for the Group B clash. Parading behind a monster Celtic banner, the Scots sang in unison as they brought a phenomenal noise to the German city, and it just highlighted the positives of an away fan base adding a new dimension to European football.
With the odd flare just lighting up the surroundings of the fans, the Celtic fans headed to the stadium with huge expectations, but they would have been a little quieter inside the ground after Brendan Rodgers' side found themselves 2-0 down at half-time.
Most Celtic fans would've much preferred to have seen their side playing in the Champions League this season, but having faltered in the qualifying stages then it's the Europa League they have to contend with for this season, but it appears the drop into the second tier European competition hasn't dampened their excitement for life in Europe, and this video shows below what a superb time the Scottish fans are having.
