Juventus paid €94 million to acquire the services of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli just two summers ago, the Argentinian international repaying that investment with 50 goals in all competitions since. The striker has stressed that he is happy in Turin, however rumours persist that the Bianconeri are open to selling the 30-year-old while he is still at the peak of his value.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Old Lady would be willing to accept no less than €63 million for the hitman, with Chelsea the main interested party. While Higuain assured that he was content to remain, he did also confess his interest in the Premier League in a recent interview.

“Would I like to play in the Premier League? Of course, it’s the most beautiful league in the world,” the Juventus forward confessed to ESPN. “There, all the matches are spectacular.”

Manchester City nearing agreement for Jorginho - La Gazzetta dello Sport

Napoli have so far held out for their €60 million valuation of midfielder Jorginho, however the most recent reports indicate that the Partenopei would be willing to accept the €50 million offered by Manchester City and are just thrashing out details of bonuses and other clauses.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis is well-aware of this player’s value, however the Italian international cost just €11 million from Hellas Verona in 2014 and has just two years remaining on his contract. The Italian sports paper suggests that 21-year-old Oleksandr Zinchenko could be offered as part of the deal, the transfer drawing ever closer as it has been suggested that the player has already agreed personal terms with Pep Guardiola’s side.
