Chelsea, Liverpool And Tottenham Set To Fight It Out For Polish International In January Transfer Window

During the current international break Premier League managers will be putting together their shopping lists for when the transfer window opens in January, and one name that has launched into the limelight as a potential target is Genoa's prolific striker Krzysztof Piatek.

The 23-year-old has already gained a call-up to the Polish national side this year, and he has amassed a spectacular goal-scoring record this season netting 13 goals in just eight games in all competitions for the Italian side and that fine record has caught the eye of a host of Premier League clubs.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are all reportedly interested in signing the in-form man, who was playing in the Polish league for KS Cracovia last season, but it's now emerged how much Genoa are going to want for his services and it isn't cheap.

Fellow Serie A side Napoli have tested the water about signing Piatek as they have spoken about a possible fee of €25million, but Genoa have been quick to dismiss that sort of fee and have whacked a gargantuan €60million price tag on him.

Having rocketed out of the traps in the early stages of the season then all three Premier League clubs are sure to keep Piatek on their radar and if he can continue to show his abilities in front of goal then could be a value buy in January, but for now Maurizio Sarri, Jurgen Klopp and Mauricio Pochettino will have to weigh up whether Piatek would be a welcome addition to the squad for such a big fee and it shall be an interesting situation to keep abreast with over the coming months.
