Chelsea Striker Alvaro Morata Misses Absolute Sitter During Film Shoot

Now Chelsea forward Alvaro Morata has been in decent form this season with three goals in the nine matches he has played this season in the Premier League, but that goalscoring prowess was not on show as he filmed an advert.

Whilst away in sunny Spain the Chelsea man was filmed flicking the ball up, catching it skillfully underneath his shirt before he raced through one-on-one with the goalkeeper. However, when he was just a yard out, he managed to somehow smack the post instead of rolling the ball into the net.

The ‘defender’ could not believe what he had just seen as one of the world’s most expensive strikers missed one of the easiest chances you are likely to see. Luckily for Maurizio Sarri and the Chelsea fans, this season he has looked sharper than this, as has the whole team for the new gaffer.

Chelsea currently lie third in the Premier League but they are unbeaten, having won seven and drawn three of their games. The Blues are looking to put the pressure on Man City and Liverpool as the Premier League title race intensifies.

Morata could well play a major role in the title race, if he finds his shooting boots he could fire Chelsea to another Premier League title. Manchester City have Sergio Aguero whilst Liverpool are relying on the goals of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah this season and Chelsea could do with a top goalscorer of their own if they are to fulfil their massive potential this season.
