A blemish-free second round of 67 was enough to see Luke List jump to the top of the leaderboard in Korea at the CJ Cup.

The American followed up his first round 68 with a second round containing five birdies and no dropped shots to lead at Nine Bridges at the half-way stage.

Player of the year Justin Thomas had led the field following round one on nine under par but found the going much tougher on Friday. A two over par round of 74 contained five bogeys to leave the American two shots back from the lead on seven under par. The round was a rare bad one for Thomas who has had a stunning 2018 and the bookies weren't too perturbed by the 74, keeping Thomas as their 11/4 favourite at the halfway stage.

2009 US Open champion Lucas Glover is in a tie for second place alongside Scott Brown of the USA on eight under par, whilst Patrick Reed and Marc Leishman are both in contention on six under par.

One of the rounds of the day went to South Korean Seung Yul Noh who carded five birdies and an eagle in his 65.

The third round continues on Friday night UK time.
