Khabib Nurmagomedov's name has been firmly pinned in the media spotlight since he beat Conor McGregor at UFC 229 last weekend.

The Russian star submitted his rival in the fourth round, before sparking scenes of unprecedented carnage as he leapt out the octagon and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis, while the Irishman himself was attacked by two members of Khabib’s team.

Khabib has since threatened to quit the company - via Instagram - should Zubaira Tukhugov and Islam Makhachev be fired by UFC President Dana White.

"If you decide to fire him [Zubaira Tukhugov], you should know that you’ll lose me too," said Khabib.

Rap star 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, has now used the social media platform in an attempt to lure Khabib over to the UFC’s rival company Bellator MMA.

“I think it’s wrong that the UFC is doing to Khabib, they didn’t do the same thing to McGregor. I’ll pay 2 million cash tonight if he will fight for me at Bellator,” the post said, with the accompanying message:

“I’ll deal with Dana and your contract later. The UFC is not the only game in town. Zubaira is welcome also.”

Khabib wasted no time in replying to the rapper’s post, stating:

“Just sent me location.”

To which 50 Cent responded:

“I’m in New York I’ll send a plane for you in the morning.”

50 Cent would later post a picture of Khabib with the message:

“What time is it, KHABIB time. Bellator is the new wave.”

It will be interesting to see if Khabib does go on and take up the lucrative offer, or instead returns to the UFC for either a rematch with McGregor or a duel with Tony Ferguson...watch this space.
