Cristiano Ronaldo hadn't scored in his last five Champions League games but he ended that run in stupendous style with an absolute belter for Juventus against Manchester United.

The Portugese star lashed home a well-placed pass over the top from Leonardo Bonucci - barely breaking stride - to give Juventus a 1-0 lead. Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has absolutely no chance because the ball was hit with such ferocity and pace.
Up till then, United had been coping pretty well with one of Europe's form teams and while not threatening, they had their moments. It was a stark contrast to the corresponding game at Old Trafford when United were so tame in a 1-0 defeat.
The Juventus manager Max Allegri could hardly believe it as he puffed his cheeks out in shock as the home fans went nuts at witnessing such a superb goal. Ronaldo celebrated by lifting his jersey up revealing his six pack and was mobbed by his team-mates. Some players choose not to celebrate against their former club but that certainly wasn't the case here!
