EA Sports have given a nice surprise to fans of FIFA 18 as they announced that their new World Cup game will be a free add-on to Fifa 18. The 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ update will allow gamers to emulate their heroes as they strive to win the biggest prize in football.
The game will be completely free for Playstation 4 and Xbox One users and as well as the World Cup mode, it will feature its own version of FIFA 18's Ultimate Team game mode.
The game will be released in a months time, on May 29 and judging by the screenshots it should be an instant hit. It will feature all 12 stadiums to be used in Russia, the official World Cup ball and authentic kits and badges. The game mode will be able to be played online and offline as players will be able to play as teams such as Panama for the very first time!
Don't worry if your nation did not qualify for this summer's big tournament, you can still dream of lifting the Jules Rimet trophy as there is the ability to edit tournaments and include your own selected nation in the World Cup. The Ultimate Team game mode will allow users to cobble together their favourite international stars from different nations into their perfect team whilst Ronaldo, Pele and Diego Maradona will all be included in this FIFA 18 add-on.
