The second-legs of the Women’s Champions League get underway this week as Arsenal look to cause an upset against German giants Wolfsburg after playing out a 1-1 draw at Meadow Park. With four semi-final places up for grabs, here is the lowdown of this week’s fixtures.
Barcelona vs Real Madrid (Agg 3-1)

The reigning European champions ran out as 3-1 winners over their rivals last time out to make it an enjoyable couple of weeks for Barca supporters who saw both the men’s and women’s team get the better of Real Madrid. When it comes to the Champions League, Barcelona are one of the experts and they look to be hitting their stride as the competition draws closer to an end. On home soil, the odds are in their favour to win the second-leg but they cannot get complacent. The visitors will have a point to prove after the first-leg and will feel that they have to come out all guns blazing to try and get a foothold back into the tie. The hosts will be boosted by the fact that they have only conceded just once in their last five Champions League quarter-final home legs.
Paris Saint-Germain vs Bayern Munich (Agg 2-1)
Where: Parc des Princes, Paris
When: Wednesday 30th March
Kick-off: 8pm

Marie-Antoinette Katoto’s brace last time out was enough to hand PSG an advantage heading into the home tie but there is still much to do if they are to book their place in the semi-finals. Both reached the semi-finals last year but they were both eliminated at this stage with one of them set to bow out prematurely this time around. Following her impact in the reverse fixture, supporters will be hoping that Katoto can help inspire PSG once again but they will also be hoping that Jordyn Huitema can get back amongst the goals having already scored six in the competition this term.

Wolfsburg vs Arsenal (Agg 1-1)
Where: Volkswagen Arena, Wolfsburg
When: Thursday 31st March
Kick-off: 5:45pm
How to watch: DAZN YouTube
After Arsenal’s Women’s Super League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur was postponed due to Covid-19 at the weekend, Jonas Eidevall will be hoping that the extra few days’ rest will benefit his players as they travel to Germany for this crucial game. They made a good account of themselves in the first-leg to frustrate the German giants and hold them to a draw at Meadow Park. They will have been boosted by their performance on home turf and will look to repeat it at the Volkswagen Arena. The impact that Eidevall has had in North London in less than a year in charge cannot be overstated and for the Gunners to be in contention for the league title as well as the Champions League title is a testament to the work the Swedish coach has done.
Lyon vs Juventus (Agg 1-2)
Where: Parc Olympique Lyonnais, Lyon
When: Thursday 31st March
Kick-off: 8pm
How to watch: DAZN YouTube
Juventus’ fine run in this year’s competition continued last time out as they came out as 2-1 winners over Lyon at home. From when they held Chelsea to a draw away from home in the group stage, the expectation of Joe Montemurro’s side grew exponentially and they have one foot in the semi-finals after their impressive performance in the first-leg. Lyon have a lot to do if they are to reach the last four and boost their chances of winning a trophy after they went without silverware in 2020-21. They will be hoping for some magic from Norway international Ada Hegerberg who is the competition’s all-time leading scorer.
