It’s been a long time coming but Miami is finally set to make its bow this weekend, becoming the 11th venue in the United States to host a World Championship race.
The F1 calendar has struggled to truly break into the American zeitgeist for much of its existence but these days its popularity is stratospheric with F1 estimating that they currently have approximately 36 millions fans Stateside.
At last year’s US Grand Prix, 400,000 fans crammed into the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas to watch the action unravel, so it’s little surprise that Miami has joined the fold, with a third in Las Vegas set to be added next season.
With a new track to tame, the battle between Red Bull and Ferrari heating up and a number of other narratives to navigate this weekend, here’s everything you need to know ahead of what is shaping up to be a spectacular few days on the grid.
