The FA Cup fifth round gets underway on Tuesday night with four cracking ties to kick us off. Here’s everything you need to know about the games, including where to watch them, what time they kick off and the current betting odds.
Stoke City vs Brighton & Hove Albion
When: Tuesday 28th February, 7.15pm
Where: Bet365 Stadium
TV: ITV4/ITVX
Betfred's Match Odds: Stoke (5/1), Brighton (1/2), Draw (3/1)
Brighton have been impressive this season and will fancy their chances of reaching the quarter-finals for the first time since 2019 against a Stoke City side currently placed 17th in the Championship. The Potters look reasonably safe from relegation though and can afford to give this FA Cup tie their full attention - could an upset be on the cards in Staffordshire?
Sportsman Stat: Each of Stoke and Brighton’s last three FA Cup ties have seen over 2.5 goals.
Leicester City vs Blackburn Rovers
When: Tuesday 28th February, 7.30pm
Where: King Power Stadium
TV: BBC Red Button/BBC iPlayer/BBC website
Betfred's Match Odds: Leicester (2/5), Blackburn (6/1), Draw (10/3)
2021 FA Cup champions Leicester take on six-time winners Blackburn in another clash between Premier League and Championship. Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes have, despite recent defeats to high-fliers Man United and Arsenal, been in steady form recently with comfortable wins over Aston Villa and Tottenham coming this month. Rovers are unbeaten since the middle of January though and are currently gunning for promotion back to the top flight as they sit 4th in the second-tier. Another potential banana skin.
Sportsman Stat: Both these sides have had low scoring affairs in the FA Cup this season, with Leicester scraping by League Two’s Walsall and Gillingham with 1-0 wins and Blackburn taking out fellow Championship sides Swansea and Blackpool by the same scoreline.
Fulham vs Leeds United
When: Tuesday 28th February, 7.45pm
Where: Craven Cottage
TV: BBC One/BBC iPlayer/BBC website
Betfred's Match Odds: Fulham (21/20), Leeds (12/5), Draw (13/5)
Fulham come into this all-Premier League tie on a run of just two defeats in their last eleven in all competitions and while they might have their eyes on a spot in Europe, the Cottagers will feel confident of overcoming a Leeds United outfit stuck in a relegation dogfight. Leeds, who snatched a vital win against Southampton on Saturday, will have a fresh face in the dugout in the form of new manager Javi Gracia but while back-to-back wins will no doubt be a huge confidence boost, their attention might be too focused on survival.
Sportsman Stat: Leeds have only won three times in their last eleven in all competitions, twice in the FA Cup.
Bristol City vs Manchester City
When: Tuesday 28th February, 8pm
Where: Ashton Gate
TV: ITV1/ITVX
Betfred's Match Odds: Bristol City (12/1), Draw (5/1), Man City (2/11)
Tuesday’s 8pm kick-off sees Bristol City and Manchester City go head-to-head for the first time in five years. Having disposed of Arsenal and Chelsea in the competition already this season, the Robins might offer the reigning Premier League champions something of respite as they look to reach the quarter-finals for the fifth year in a row.
Man City can’t be complacent though. Despite being 35th in the Championship, Bristol City are a tough side to beat and haven’t tasted defeat in their last 12 matches.
Sportsman Stat: Both teams have scored in eight of Bristol City’s last eleven matches in all competitions, while the same can be said for five of Man City’s last six.
