Gameweek 10 is just around the corner in Fantasy Premier League and after another hat-trick for Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, if you haven’t got him in your team at this point then you only have yourself to blame.

Haaland has to have the armband at home
Manchester City have another home game this weekend as they welcome Southampton to the Etihad Stadium. Given that Haaland has scored three hat-tricks in his last three home games in the Premier League, there is a very good chance he could be on the scoresheet profusely again this weekend so it is worth selecting him as your captain.
His abilities are becoming more of a cheat code with each passing match and you can always guarantee he will get a handful of chances to score thanks to the creative genius that is Kevin De Bruyne.
Now might be the time to bring in Maddison
Leicester City looked sharp in their derby demolition of Nottingham Forest on Monday night and James Maddison was right at the heart of it. The Foxes are desperate to carry themselves up the table and their 4-0 victory over Forest was the perfect first step. Maddison’s two goals and one assist earned him the Player of the Match award, but it feels like there is still more to come from him.
We discussed recently that the midfielder has a favourable run of fixtures to force his way into England’s World Cup squad. This in turn could benefit FPL bosses with Leicester’s next four clashes coming against AFC Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Leeds United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
An opportunity to trial Chelsea attackers
After coming from behind to defeat Crystal Palace 2-1 last time out, thanks to a sumptuous Conor Gallagher strike, the latest gameweek might provide managers a good time to trial some of the Blues’ attacking stars. They host managerless Wolves this weekend and given how much of a torrid time they are having this season, Chelsea could exploit them while the uncertainty of leadership and identity lingers.
Having scored against Palace, and having an impressive goalscoring record from his time at Arsenal, forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be a shrewd addition this week.
