Fernandes has registered 50% of his Premier League goal contributions this season in the past four matches and he looks sharper than ever for the Red Devils. Priced at £9.8m, he might be a good asset to have with United having some favourable fixtures in another meeting with Palace, Leeds United and Leicester City coming up. If you are an owner of expensive midfielders such as Mohamed Salah or Son Heung-min, it might be worth replacing these underperforming stars to make funds for potentially improving your forward line.
Brighton babes worth investing in
Brighton & Hove Albion have been in great form since domestic football returned last month. Roberto De Zerbi’s side have won three of their four league matches, including another 3-0 thrashing of Liverpool last time out. There have been a handful of Seagulls stars who have been excelling in recent weeks who might be worth investing in.
The stars in question are Kaoru Mitoma, Solly March and Evan Ferguson. March has been involved in six goals in the past four gameweeks, including a brace against Liverpool last time out. Mitoma has scored twice and assisted once while breakthrough forward Ferguson has been involved in four goals in his last three appearances - he looks like he has a big future ahead of him.
Brighton face struggling Leicester City this weekend and they do have an enticing list of fixtures between now and April as they look like a side that could qualify for the Europa League next year.
March is priced at £5.1m, Mitoma is available at £5.0m and Ferguson would cost just £4.5m.
Odegaard becoming Arsenal’s most valuable asset
Arsenal are having a great time at the top of the Premier League. They play exciting football and are blessed with strong attacking players. One of their strongest assets this season has been Martin Odegaard who assumed captaincy in the summer. The Norwegian has scored eight goals and provided five assists already this season, and five of his involvements have come in the past four matches.
He is a player growing with confidence after each passing game and with the brilliant passes he can make to create chances, coupled with the space he finds himself in to unleash shots from outside the box, he looks like he is going to get into double digits for both goals and assists before the season comes to an end. The midfielder is priced at just £6.8m.
