Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 23 felt like one of the toughest of the season, but don’t you worry, Gameweek 24 is just around the corner and there are some nice fixtures lined up for this weekend which should help you with your weekly transfer business.
As always, The Sportsman are here to provide you with three tips to help you attain the highest points tally possible for the coming Gameweek.
Estupinan value
Brighton & Hove Albion left-back Pervis Estupinan has been in fine form recently for the Seagulls, having contributed three assists in his last four appearances while also keeping one clean sheet. He had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside in his last outing against rivals Crystal Palace last weekend as he continues to show his threat going forward. As is always the way of FPL, high-scoring defenders prove to be the most valuable assets throughout the season because they often prove to be the difference in title battles and head-to-head fixtures.

The Ecuador international has got some interesting fixtures coming up. Brighton first welcome their top six-chasing rivals Fulham to the south coast this weekend, then they have a blank Gameweek 25, before meetings with West Ham United, Leeds United and Crystal Palace in the following weeks.
Estupinan is priced at £4.6m.
Mahrez becoming the most desirable Manchester City asset
In recent weeks, Erling Haaland has lost his MVP status at Manchester City to Riyad Mahrez. The Algerian winger has been Pep Guardiola’s brightest spark, having been involved in seven goals in the last five Gameweeks (four goals, three assists) and City have some favourable fixtures lined up.

They travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest this weekend, coming up against a side they comfortably defeated 6-0 earlier in the season. They will then travel to the south coast to take on struggling AFC Bournemouth, who are fighting for their Premier League survival. City will see both of these games as a must-win because they are looking to maintain their newly-acquired lead in the title race.
Mahrez is priced at £7.8m.
Iheanacho is finally getting a run of games with Leicester.
After Leicester City defeated Walsall 1-0 to progress to the Fifth Round of the FA Cup, we said that Kelechi Iheanacho deserved more game time because of how impactful he is whenever he is on the pitch. The Nigerian striker has started the past two Premier League games for the Foxes and has been involved in five goals (two goals, three assists) as Leicester have recorded huge victories over Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.
Although Leicester have some tough matches coming up against Manchester United and Arsenal, they have shown that they surprise a few and it comes as no surprise with Iheanacho back in the side and James Maddison on-song.
Iheanacho is priced at £6.1m.
