It's the second week of the 2022 World Cup, we've got four games of action once more including Cameroon-Serbia, Brazil-Switzerland, South Korea-Ghana and Portugal Uruguay. Settle in for a great day of action!
Portugal also confirm their spot in the round of 16, grabbing all three points from Uruguay thanks to a Bruno Fernandes brace involving a controversial penalty and a potential touch from Ronaldo. Regardless, Portugal keep their 100% winning record together!
Surely that can't be a penalty!
Bruno Fernandes converts in his confident brash style! It's 2-0 to Portugal now...
Bruno Fernandes to step up for Portugal...
It looks like FIFA have awarded the goal to Bruno Fernandes rather than Cristiano Ronaldo...
But was it Fernandes or Ronaldo that got the goal?

This one is close to offside, and whether there was a touch from Ronaldo, but Portugal have their breakthrough! A sweeping ball from Bruno Fernandes ends up in the back of the net, Cristiano Ronaldo might've got the faintest of touches on the ball. Either way, it's in!
Well, that was uneventful to say the least! Portugal are having more chances than Uruguay so far but ultimately, they've done nothing with it.
If you have a vested interest in English football, then check out the FA Cup third round draw below!
We're underway at the Lusail!
Brazil have beaten Switzerland 1-0 thanks to a goal from Casemiro, and have confirmed their spot in the round of 16. Next up, Portugal vs Uruguay!
ANOTHER FOR BRAZIL, BUT THIS ONE SHOULD COUNT!
Defensive midfield maestro Casemiro receives the ball after a lovely flick move from Vinicius and Rodrygo, and he smashes it home. The camera panned round the ground with applause coming from everybody, including former stars like Ronaldo, Kaka, Roberto Carlos and Cafu. Huge moment for Brazil.
That Swiss high line, it might've been on the wrong side of the pitch but it's caught Vinicius out as the goal is ruled out for offside! What do we know, eh.
Goal for Brazil!
Switzerland's high line finds itself on the wrong side of the field as Brazil switch it over to Vinicius Jr who has a clear run at goal from 30 yards out. He curls it round Sommer with ease.
The teams are back out, with one notable change for Brazil. Real Madrid's Rodrygo replaces West Ham's Lucas Paqueta, presumably to play in the number 10 role behind Richarlison, with Fred and Casemiro now defending as a flat two. Tite was expected to bring Rodrygo in as Neymar's direct replacement, and here it is!
It wasn't one to write home about, but Brazil and Switzerland will head back to the dressing rooms content to have kept a shutout in the first 45 minutes. More to come in 15!
Brazil get us underway at Stadium 974.

Just when they were on the verge of becoming the most domitable of all Fifa World Cup teams, Cameroon showed that their Indomitable Lions moniker actually does carry some meaning.
From 3-1 down, they claimed a 3-3 draw with Serbia in Al Wakrah on Monday which keeps their group G campaign alive and means they avoid collecting an unwanted title.
