The 2018 Masters Tournament concludes on Sunday and we have all the action covered on The Sportsman.
The most iconic of the four golfing major championships, The Masters at Augusta looks extra special this year as Tiger Woods makes his first appearance since 2015, recovering from back surgery. Woods has been the story coming into this year's tournament, going close in the Valspar Championship four weeks ago finishing second behind Paul Casey and then going close at Bay Hill on his last start.
Woods is amongst a stellar line up of favourites which include world number one Dustin Johnson who missed last year's tournament due to a freak accident falling down the stairs at his accommodation on the eve of the championship. Johnson won at the start of the year but has been relatively quiet by his standards coming into the tournament, but has finished in the top ten in his last two starts.
Jordan Spieth has gone 2-1-2-11 on his last four visits to Augusta and with a third place finish in Houston last week lines up with a big chance. Whilst friend Justin Thomas, the world number two has four top ten finishes in his last four starts on the PGA Tour including a win in the Honda Classic, makes his third appearance in the Masters.
British golf fans will be rooting for Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose. The former needs just the Masters to complete the career Grand Slam whilst Justin Rose, who was beaten into second place by Sergio Garcia twelve months ago, arrives at Augusta in fine form and searching for his second major title.
