Dillian Whyte produced a sensational performance to knockout Dereck Chisora at The O2 Arena before Christmas, and the British boxer will be looking to manufacture a rematch with Anthony Joshua in 2019, as he looks to launch his way back to the higher echelons of heavyweight boxing
Whyte's defeat against Joshua in an epic heavyweight title bout in 2015 propelled the 30-year-old into the limelight, but footage has emerged of Whyte in his younger days, and it's footage of him in the boxing ring, but showing his qualities as kickboxer.
The Jamaican-born star was a two-times British heavyweight kickboxing champion in his youth, and the video shows Whyte inflicting pain on Will Riva, who impressively stood his ground while taking a pasting from the monstrous Whyte, but the bout ultimately ended with a sickening knee to the face of Riva.
Whyte's aggression was clear to see for everyone, as he continued to launch huge blows on Riva, who continued to fight the stronger man in front of an excitable crowd, but Whyte's dominance eventually showed in the third round, as Riva was dropped by a knee and was forced to quit the fight.
Whyte's progression into the boxing world has seen him become one of Britain's finest heavyweights this century, but while he is now used to performing in front of huge crowds, he started life progressing through the kickboxing arena, and this video shows that he is pretty damn good at it!
