''He Lost His Privileges'' Patrick Reed Goes In Hard On Camera Crew At The European Open

Patrick Reed's got a reputation of being a bit of a b**tard. The American golfer didn't exactly endear himself to the British and European galleries at Gleaneagles four years ago in the Ryder Cup giving it the old Jose Mourinho shhhh at the crowd during his match and a cup of the ear.

Staying in Europe an extra week following The Open at Carnoustie, Reed is playing in the Porsche European Open in Germany and the cameramen were the latest to upset him.

Whilst preparing to play a pitch onto the green, Reed was distracted by one of the cameraman team rustling the coins in their pocket. An obvious distraction but Reed was unable to put it to the back of his mind, turning to the offender Reed's Caddie Kessler Karain confronted the crew:

"You're rattling your change in your pocket, that's what I'm pointing at you for."

A rattled Reed took it further:

"I need y’all to to go over there at that side of the green. “Camera guy too, sorry. Because he’s part of you. He lost privileges by going like that with change."

Reed waited patiently as the pair trudged to the opposite side of the green whilst the sound man stood firm.

The American said it was "Ridiculous", although did show some humour when interviewed by the Golf Channel after his round, saying "I should have asked camera guy for some of his change."

Reed went on to card a two under par total of seventy which included three birdies, four shots off the first round leader Bryson DeChambeau. The action continues on Friday, cameramen beware!
