''He Signed This ESPN Deal Just To Run Away From Me'' - Deontay Wilder Lifts The Lid On Tyson Fury In Explosive Radio Interview

The beef between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury has exploded into life in recent weeks with their hotly anticipated rematch cancelled at the last minute.

The pair of monster heavyweights fought out a controversial draw in LA back in December but just when you thought the rematch was about to be signed, Fury instead announced that he had signed a TV deal in the States with ESPN

The new TV deal for the Gypsy King all but ended any chance of a rematch with Wilder due to the politics of boxing and both men have been having their say on the failed negotiations as a result.

Wilder, who is the current WBC Champ, is never backward in coming forward with his forthright opinions and in an interview on SiriusXM Boxing he let loose on the fact that he believes the lineal champion has deliberately swerved a second bout...

Fury did not want to fight me. Fury signed this ESPN deal just to run away from me .....What he doesn't realize is he is not a champion."

Fury was widely seen by many to have won the first fight after out boxing the American for long stretches of the bout but the judges didn't agree and that means the Bronze Bomber held on to his belt, and his unbeaten record, by the skin of his teeth.

Where both fighters go from here is anyone's guess, especially with Fury as he embarks on the ESPN deal, although Wilder now now potentially face a mandatory defence against fellow American Dominic Breazeale.

One thing that we do know for sure is that while neither man lost the first fight, it is the fans that are losing out with the lack of a rematch.
