“He Will Never Be Forgiven” Celtic Fans React To Brendan Rodgers’ Potential Shock Exit

Brendan Rodgers looks set to take over at Leicester City to the dismay of Celtic fans online, who have adored the former Liverpool manager over the past few seasons. He has won seven trophies out of seven in Scottish domestic football and looked set to win the treble-treble, with Celtic seven points clear at the top of the SPL.

However, now he looks to have packed it all in to return to the Premier League with Leicester, following the sacking of Claude Puel. This news hasn’t gone down well with the Celtic fans, who look likely to be supporting a team managed by Neil Lennon once again.

They posted their frustration online, claiming Rodgers will never be forgiven, despite all his good work at the club.

“He will never be forgiven, all this great work is forgotten is my eyes @mikster36

“If Brendan leaves now - he will never be forgiven by the supporters. Final third of the season utterly appalling and shameful!! @rkelly0506

“Poor show Chris, absolutely gutted but nobody is bigger than the club and onto the treble treble” @Vickis89

“Gerrard for Celtic. He'd love to move to a big club.”  @CaspersColly

“Why not wait until the end of the season ..timing seems way off?” @malagaghirl

“Unforgivable tbh. If it was to Man U or something fair enough but Leicester? No chance.” @Cairney87Dani

“Rodgers leaving now reeks of internal strife That said it's also massively disappointing.” @GerryH64

“If Brendan goes now at this stage in the season he's f*cked any chance of being a celtic legend. He's been a success as a manager but as a person he's failed to follow his own standards.” @Che_Nthcham
