The art of trash talk has long been a major part of the sport of boxing and Dereck Chisora took his pre-bout 'chat' to new levels when interviewed ahead of his huge clash with Dillian Whyte on Saturday, December 22.
The pair were being interviewed by Sky Sports as part of the build-up to the Box Office fight, which is taking place at the O2 Arena in London.
The bout is a rematch between the pair after the first grudge match in December 2016 went the way of Whyte, via a split-decision, although many pundits felt Chisora should have been handed victory.
Asked how he beats Whyte later this month, Chisora responded on Tuesday by saying...
It's like this man... you ever taken those pills, the laxative pills? You take, you pop, and you're waiting for twenty minutes and they go through you...
I'm going to go through this man...
Right... Yes, well... Cue an awkward silence as a bemused Whyte weighs up what has just been said and lets the full gravity of what Chisora has just said linger, before replying...
A bit of a weird analogy.
Chisora then doubled down on his statement:
Everyone knew exactly what I was talking about. I'm going to go through him.
The heavyweight fight could be one to watch, let's just hope it's not too dirty if laxative pills are involved.
