We've all been there. Your dad turns up to your school's sports day and can't control himself on the sidelines. For Tommy Fleetwood it was the small matter of the Ryder Cup as his proud father stole the show with his celebrations at Le Golf National in France.
Mr Fleetwood Senior was wearing a microphone while watching his son taking to Ryder Cup golf like a duck to water and his on-running commentary was the sort of stuff that provides goosebumps as he revelled in his son's excellent performance, in partnership with Francesco Molinari, on Friday.
Fleetwood nailed a superb putt and his dad could be heard saying "go in ball, go in ball" before letting out a delighted screaming and asking, "how good is that?"
Pretty good, Mr Fleetwood, pretty good.
The elder Fleetwood then celebrated Molinari's winning putt in the fourballs victory over Patrick Reed and Tiger Woods..
"Should have known he'd hold it. How to finish them off, how to finish them off.
Birdie, Birdie, Birdie, Ta-ra!"
It was wonderful to watch as Mr Fleetwood clearly enjoyed seeing his son and his playing partner doing so well, and Team Europe will be hoping for more of the same.
The pair then shared in a warm embrace at the end of the round, but like all good fathers, Fleetwood Senior wasn't entirely happy with his son's play, telling him, "go a bit quicker this avvy".
It was a joy to watch following a difficult for morning of the Ryder Cup for Europe as they found themselves 3-1 down at the end of the fourballs, although a stunning afternoon performance during the foursomes pulled them back into it and they ended the day 5-3 up.
