Manchester United ran riot in the first half of their Premier League clash with Fulham at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon as the Red Devils raced into a 3-0 lead over the Cottagers and the fans are not sure what they are witnessing!

Boring, drab football has been the norm for United fans in recent times under Jose Mourinho, but this afternoon's performance has re-ignited the fans spirits as after Ashley Young netted the opener, further goals from Juan Mata and Romelu Lukaku....yes that's out-of-form, out-of-favour Romelu Lukaku has launched United into a clear lead on home soil.

While it's a result that won't shock many with Fulham's defensive woes being the reason they are fighting it out at the bottom of the table, but United's abilities this afternoon to make the most of a leaky defence has forced the fans to swamp social media and laud the performance in the first 45 minutes.

Check out some of the United fans' reaction to their side leading 3-0 at the break.

t’s like watching them under fergie boom! [doug79247134]

United's finally playing well, of course it's against Fulham who will most certainly be heading back to the Championship next season but hey, they look good today. [jongacy1]
