Ryder Cup fever has taken over the weekend! Former footballer Jimmy Bullard showed his skills with a golf club during Saturday morning's Soccer AM Show and it was GLORIOUS.

Bullard made a name for himself being a bit of a cheeky chappy during his time as a midfielder for Wigan, Fulham, Hull and Upswich, amongst others, and he has since turned his hand to punditry.

Like most footballers, Jimmy clearly enjoys a round of golf too and showed off his skills during Sky's Soccer AM programme on Saturday.

The show's presenter, John Fendley, says to Jimmy, "right, lets crack on, Jim. Before we tee off, would you mind sticking that golf ball into that top bin for us...."

Jimmy duly picks up the club and chips the ball into a bin that had been placed in the top right-hand corner of a goal. It is a shot that has to be seen to be believed and you can see it in all of its glory further down this page.

Bullard's trick shot drew amazed cheers from the crowd and studio crew, with the former footballer then strutting off to enjoy the adoration of his fans.

His football career may be over nowadays but the 39-year-old clearly fancies himself as a bit of a golfer and he will no doubt be living off that moment of televised magic for months, it not years, to come.
