Liverpool go into their must win Champions League match against Napoli under huge pressure and the team news has not exactly helped the fans confidence.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to start Jordan Henderson, Gini Wijnaldum and James Milner as a midfield three and it is fair to say that social media has erupted at the decision.

Only three points will do against the Partenopei at Anfield and Liverpool fans were hoping that Fabinho and Naby Keita would get the nod after their terrific displays against Bournemouth on Saturday, but the German manager has gone back to his tried and tested trio in the middle of the park.

Henderson in particular continues to divide critics and the fans were not happy to see him picked for such a big game...

Whenever you’ve got Jordan Henderson in your team you’ve always got a chance.......of losing. - (@BluebloodTD)

I have given up on any idea of lifting a trophy while Jordan Henderson is still at Liverpool. I'd be the most surprised if we ever do - (@Vuyo_)

Jordan Henderson is robbing a living as captain for liverpool - (@SLarney3)

It wasn't only Henderson that was getting stick on social media though, with Gini Wijnaldum also under the microscope before a ball has been kicked

Wijnaldum doesn't EVER play well as a #8 I can't believe he actually started Jordan Henderson in our biggest game of the season - (@RichPorter_95)

So the Gini-Milner-Henderson midfield. Frankly astounded Fabinho is left out again. But, regardless, how do you feel about it? Salah back on the right after a hat-trick at the weekend - right call? - (@karlmatchett)

Time will tell if Klopp has made the right decision to go back to his three solid midfielders as opposed to the inform new signings but for the time being at least, Liverpool fans are clearly unhappy!
