Jose Mourinho Loses His Mind After Handball Goal Sends Manchester United Into The Champions League Knockout Stages

This was as bad a Manchester United performance as you could ever wish to see but it was also the Manchester United of old as 'Fergie Time' came into play when the Red Devils scored a dramatic injury-time winner against Young Boys.

Jose Mourinho's men had been dreadful for much of the match before a long ball was pumped up to Romelu Lukaku, who flicked the ball onto Marouane Fellaini and the United midfielder appeared to control the ball with his hand before driving the ball into the Young Boys net.

Cue delirium inside Old Trafford and Mourinho went completely mental - you can see his angry celebration in the video further down this page as the drinks bottles took an absolutely hammering.

The victory was enough to ensure Manchester United will qualify for the knockout phase of the Champions League, although they were indebted to Fellaini's sneaky handball and a goalkeeping masterclass from David de Gea.

A limited Young Boys side grew in confidence as the game went on and they tested De Gea, not least when the ball appeared to be squirming into the net before the United goalkeeper produced a quite remarkable save to scoop the ball away just as it was about to cross the line.

It was Fellaini and a quite sensational celebration from Mourinho that would steal that show in the end though as they somehow managed to win a game that appeared to be heading towards a goalless draw. See Mourinho turn into the 'Incredible Hulk' below...
