The ex-Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed how his job prospects are looking since he was fired by the Premier League club last month.

Not too bad, it would seem. Speaking on Bein Sports, where he gave a wide-ranging interview, which included a few digs at the Manchester clubs, he said the following.

"I know my nature. My next move? I don’t know. It depends.

"I will analyse things. I don’t like to speak about it, but I have refused already three options.

"Because I didn’t feel it was what I want. So I’m going to be calm in this aspect.

"The more time I have the better I can prepare."

The Portuguese was released by United on the 18th of December but rarely stays out of work for long. A return to Real Madrid, where he is said to be well thought of in the boardroom, has been talked about as one particular option for Mourinho.

The position of national team manager of his native country has, according to him, long held an appeal, but he dismissed talks of a switch to national team management recently.

German champions Bayern Munich, another struggling giant of the European game, has also been mentioned as a possible destination.
