Khabib Nurmagomedov Sensationally Calls Out Floyd Mayweather: ‘In The Jungle There’s Only One King’

It’s now been a week since Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor in the octagon but still the fallout from the dramatic scenes after the title fight continue to dominate the headlines.

Khabib has threatened to quit the sport should his teammates be fired, but in the latest twist the Russian has now called out another one of McGregor’s conquerors, boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, who beat the Irishman in the boxing ring last August.

In a video posted to Instagram by DeJuan Black, Khabib, speaking with CEO of Mayweather Promotions Leonard Ellerbe, had a few choice words for Mayweather:

“Let’s go Floyd Mayweather, let’s fight now.

“50-0 vs 27-0. Two guys who never lose, let’s go, why not.

“In the jungle there’s only one king, and of course I’m the king.

“He cannot drop McGregor, but I dropped him easily, let’s go.”

The world will now await Mayweather’s response.

The American took his tally to 50 wins from 50 fights after he beat McGregor, but should he fancy yet another big pay day he will no doubt take up the offer from the UFC lightweight Champion.

Meanwhile, Mayweather had previously given his reaction to last weekend’s post-fall brawl in an interview with ITB:

“McGregor was fighting. I’m not too familiar with the guy (Khabib) he was fighting. But I know that the guy he was facing was undefeated.

“McGregor, he’s a tough competitor, but from what I heard was, the guy, after the fight, McGregor’s opponent jumped out the ring, and was fighting people in the crowd.

”So, very unprofessional. It’s gonna be a huge fine.”
