Leeds United fans have laughed off reports that their manager Marcelo Bielsa is wanted by Everton.
Current Toffees boss Marco Silva is coming under increasing pressure after a run of poor results and some fans have suggested it's time for him to be replaced. As well as a poor run in the league, Everton were also knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Millwall.
Today's Mirror says that Everton have identified Bielsa as the man to revive Everton's fortunes but it's a story which has been derided by Leeds fans who seem convinced the manager will stay in West Yorkshire and guide them back to the top flight.
"Never gonna happen" was the overall response from the Leeds supporters - though I've cleaned that up a bit.
Others suggested this was a story that was being dreamt up to unsettle Leeds at a crucial stage of the season.
Bielsa, who recently admitted that he sent spies to watch rivals' training sessions, is currently being investigated by the Football League after Derby reported someone watching their routines before a recent game.
The 63-year-old Argentinian is highly regarded by many of his contemporaries after a career which has seen him manage at club and international level across the globe. He is close to Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino who frequently talk about him as an influence on their careers.
With the Championship promotion race likely to go down to the last day, this is a story that Leeds could well do without as they plot a return to the Premier League.
