Hot on the heels of the Champions League draw which saw some monumental ties between the biggest clubs in Europe, both Chelsea and Arsenal will learn their fate in the Europa League last 32 draw in Nyon at midday on Monday 17th December. Celtic also made it into the draw thanks to RB Leipzig dropping points in their final group game.
Both clubs are used to dining at Europe's top table but they're in the hat for Europe's lesser trophy, which has a fare few big names left in.
The pair head the betting with Chelsea 9/2 favourites and Arsenal a 6/1 chance. Both teams came through the group stages without any fuss and will be seeded for the last 32 draw. Celtic won't be seeded and are as big as 66/1 to lift the trophy.
The draw for the next stage of the Europa League takes place today in Nyon, Switzerland, as the best of the best from across Europe vie for a place of taking one step closer to the final of the competition.
Arsenal and Chelsea are still in the competition after making light work of the group stage.
Unai Emery has an amazing record in this competition having won it in three successive seasons with Sevilla – a first in the competition.
Eight teams have dropped into the competition from the Champions League, including some bighitters like Napoli, Inter Milan, Valencia and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Celtic are still in in the competition despite losing half of their group games and only scraping through.
