Mame Biram Diouf's incredible night

In the Turkish Cup, Mame Biram Diouf goes in goal after Hatayspor's keeper is sent off. He's then replaced by the backup goalkeeper in extra time to let him go back outfield before the back-up is also sent off. Diouf dons the gloves once again, scores his penalty in the shootout before going on to win it 6-5. Incredible scenes.

Translation: -

"Mom, this shirt must be returned to Santa Claus. Look, it's not the original, it doesn't have the cross on top of the crown."

"And what happens?"

"Well, it's not the original and I won't wear it... The one I will wear will be the original one when I grow up and play for Real Madrid."

Evra's Ballon d'Or rant

Patrice Evra posted a lengthy Instagram rant to tell people to 'open their eyes' to the corruption within the Ballon d'Or organisation. He stated "Enough is enough. You had to create a trophy for Lewandowski because you felt guilty. You knew there was corruption. Open your eyes! ". Evra argued he has no grudge against Lionel Messi and he just wanted to highlight the corruption: I don't hate Messi, people say it's because I lost three Champions League finals with him but it's not like that".

He also believes Edouard Mendy deserved the Yashin Trophy and was snubbed because he is African: Why not Edouard Mendy? Of course, the African Cup, we are the monkeys and we have the only competition where we have to leave our teams for three or four weeks and nobody respects us."
