Football is full of bromances. Here in the Premier League we have Eric Dier and Dele Alli at Tottenham, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard at Man Utd, then there's Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal.

Over in Liverpool, Reds fans are currently loving the relationship between two of their star defenders, “bezzies’ Joe Gomez and Virgil Van Dijk, who are part of a rock-solid defence that has conceded just four league goals so far this season, with the title-chasing Merseyside club currently enjoying their joint-best ever start to a Premier League season.

The duos blossoming bromance is also flourishing off the pitch, which is perfectly reflected in this comedy video on Liverpool’s YouTube page, where the players are each asked a series of questions about the other.

The topics ranged from childhood idols, past squad numbers, and debuts, to which Liverpool player takes the longest to get ready, with the pair rinsing each other throughout.

When asked what Gomez's best feature was, Van Dijk took the opportunity to mock his teammate's dressing room routine:

“His locker looks like a beauty section. I tell him every time if I can buy some things from his pharmacy. So I would probably say is face.”

A shocked Gomez revealed that it was actually his 'body', then went on to say:

“You know I’m not really like you - vain!”

At one point Van Dijk had to name the club Liverpool signed Gomez from:

“Charlton. I know it because I saw a picture of him when he looked a bit fat!”

However, the pair also showered each other in love, with Gomez revealing:

"As soon as he came to the club we clicked and we have good chemistry. I look up to him in a lot of ways."
