The FA Cup third round draw took place on Monday evening and we are at the stage of the prestigious competition where Premier League and Championship sides enter the fray.
Holders Liverpool will get their title defence underway against Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers at Anfield. There were five top-flight fixtures made in the draw with Manchester City hosting Chelsea, Brentford welcoming West Ham United, Crystal Palace entertaining Southampton and Manchester United taking on Everton at Old Trafford.
In some of the more interesting ties outside the Premier League, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham got an away tie against Championship outfit Coventry City. Fellow National League side Boreham Wood, who got to the fifth round last year, got a home tie with Accrington Stanley, while Chesterfield will play host to West Bromwich Albion.
And for The Sportsman’s Road to Wembley series, Forest Green Rovers have been drawn at home to Birmingham City.
