Amazon Prime have released a trailer for what should be one of the top sporting documentaries we see this year. The biopic will be about former Liverpool captain and club legend Steven Gerrard, who shares some of his most personal and emotional football moments whilst giving insight into how he reacted and responded at the time.

The trailer appears to show them going into great detail about the epic 2005 Champions League final, the Premier League title run in of 2013/14 and Gerrard’s potential move to Chelsea when Jose Mourinho was in charge.

In the film, named “Make Us Dream”, Gerrard talked about the pressures that come with being Liverpool captain. At one point during the trailer he says: “football is not about turning up and playing, it's about dealing with everything that comes with it."He also questioned whether he was ‘worthy enough’ to play for Liverpool and clearly felt huge responsibility as Liverpool captain.

This film comes from the producers of the incredible award-winning ‘Senna’ and ‘Amy’ films, two biopics that had a huge impact on their viewers. Gerrard, now Rangers manager, is one of Liverpool’s all-time greats and his story from his breakthrough as a youngster to Champions League winning captain is fantastic.

His turbulent pursuit of that elusive Premier League title really gives an insight as to what pressures Liverpool captains face and the expectations the city places on its football team. This us set to be released on the 15th November in selected cinemas before it is released to the public on Amazon Prime.

We can’t wait to see this one! Watch the full trailer below.
