Liverpool Fans Go Into Meltdown As Defensive Ace May Miss Manchester City Game

Liverpool fans have gone into full panic mode on social media as rumours surface that Andy Robertson’s wife may have gone into the early stages of labour, which would result in the Scottish international missing tonight’s huge game at the top of the Premier League table.

It is unconfirmed as to whether Andy Robertson travelled with the team to Manchester this afternoon as they relax at their team hotel before the big game. If he does miss the game for the birth of his child then Liverpool will be without their first choice left-back and would likely play Nathaniel Clyne, Alberto Moreno or James Milner in the full-back position.

Man City are also going to be without their first-choice left-back as Benjamin Mendy is injured and with Fabian Delph suspended they will rely on youngster Oleksandr Zinchenko to deal with Mo Salah.

The reports are still unconfirmed and Robertson may well play in tonight’s game but seeing Liverpool fans go nuts on Twitter is always entertaining. One fan tweeted: "If true, then @andrewrobertso5 bird is incredibly selfish for going into labour on the day of the biggest match of the season” whilst another commented: “F*ck pregnancy, this is a title decider.”

“Seriously though. Andy Robertson needs to get his priorities right…”  as well as “Just get the midwife to film it lad” were other comments seen online but they all had the same underlying message to them. Liverpool fans are desperate for their left-back who has been on fire lately to play tonight!
