Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool could be set to splash the cash in January with the Anfield club linked with two major stars today.
The Reds are reportedly keeping a close eye on Pascal Gross of Brighton and Thorgan Hazard of Borussia Mochengladbach ahead of the winter window with a strong second half of the Premier League season the aim.
The Mirror are reporting that Klopp has been keeping a close eye on Gross since his days in Germany with the Seagulls star seen as a potential replacement for the failed Nabil Fekir transfer.
Despite sitting top of the Premier League table, there has been fierce criticism of the Liverpool squad, specifically the midfield options, of late and Gross could be seen as the attacking flair that many believe the team are lacking.
Gross has been one of the stars of the show for Brighton in the Premier League but has struggled for his best form this term, meaning a deal could suit all parties.
Elsewhere, Liga Financial are suggesting that Klopp is also considering making a move for Thorgan Hazard this winter. The younger brother of Chelsea star Eden, the Monchengladbach winger has been in excellent form in Germany with 10 goals and five assists to his name so far this term and that has alerted the attention of the Premier League title contenders.
The story goes on to say that the Belgian has a contract with the Foals until 2020 and has a release clause of around 30m Euros which certainly wouldn't put off the Anfield giants.
