Juventus have offered Liverpool the chance to sign Marko Pjaca according to various reports today.
Talksport are reporting that the Turin giants have quoted Liverpool a price of £22m to buy the Croatian winger as they look to clear the decks for the potential arrivals of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
It could be all change for the Serie A Champions this summer and Liverpool FC are thought to be considering making the move to sign Pjaca, who is currently at the World Cup in Russia.
Despite struggling to make an impact in Italy up this point, Pjaca is a powerful winger who has bucket loads of potential and could fit the mould as an ideal Jurgen Klopp project. The 23-year-old spent the second half of last term on loan at Schalke but could now be ready to make a permanent move away from the Bianconeri with his chances of first team football diminishing.
Liverpool are clearly looking to strengthen in attacking areas with the squad thin on the ground in terms of quality behind Roberto Firmino, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane. Pjaca could fit the bill as a talented forward who can play in any of the three positions up front, although he primarily plays on the left of a front three.
The recent collapse of the Nabil Fekir transfer was certainly a blow for Jurgen Klopp but Pjaca could offer the German with a cheaper alternative as he looks to add depth to his Anfield squad. Pjaca made his name with Dinamo Zagreb before making the move to Juventus and he would surely jump at the chance of heading to the Premier League to join the Champions League finalists.
What do you think Liverpool fans, is £22m a bargain?
